Cara Menyimpan User Dan Password OpenVPN

Secara default, OpenVPN tidak menyimpan user dan password dan mengharuskan anda untuk memasukkan mereka dalam setiap kali anda terhubung ke server.
Sebenarnya cara ini bagus faktor keamanan, misal jika laptop/smartphone anda di pinjam  dan tanpa sengaja menhubungkan ke OpenVPN maka secara auto akan meminta user dan passwd. Tapi kadang kita tidak mau permision user n pass, cukup sekali menulis user dan passwd lalu menyimpannya untuk mengizinkan login auto OpenVPN.

Buatlah file teks baru dalam folder ini. Sebagai contoh “auth.txt”.
Isi file teks ini harus hanya menjadi dua baris. Baris pertama harus nama username dan yang kedua password anda. Simpan file ini.

Sekarang buka file konfigurasi OpenVPN Anda, yang harus dalam folder yang sama, dalam editor teks (gunakan Notepad ++ bukan Notepad).  File-file ini biasanya diakhiri dengan ekstensi .ovpn. Cari baris “auth-user-pass” dan edit menjadi “auth-user-pass auth.txt”, di mana “auth.txt” adalah nama file yang berisi username dan password anda. Simpan file ini.
