Soon the end of plastic bottles? In any case, three young designers, based on the observation that 85% of plastic bottles are beyond recycling, have designed an alternative thereto or traditional carafe of water, not easily transportable: the water bubble, dubbed Ohoo perfectly biodegradable, and for good reason, it is eaten after use!
Rodrigo Garcia Gonzales and Guillaume Pierre Paslier layer, installed in London, have indeed invented a container drop-shaped, consisting of a double spherical membrane produced from brown algae and calcium chloride, which protects the interior of hygienically. It carries, empties and then eats or flows without impacting the environment. A container inspired by the egg yolk in a sense: once pierced, content spreads; or more directly from molecular cuisine. Indeed, the three designers say they apply "an evolved version of spherification to one of the most fundamental and essential elements of life: water. "Spherification is indeed a technique used in molecular cooking that involves trapping liquids in gelatinous spheres of different sizes.
In addition, the double membrane allows to label between the two layers without adhesive, or affix a logo, edible preferably for a company that would like to customize. Currently few small problems remain, and remain to be resolved before marketing: how to keep clean membrane to transport before drinking the contents and especially eating? And how to drink the water without much flood? Ohoo but also has the advantage of being a very inexpensive to manufacture and, according to three designers: "Anyone can make from his kitchen. "
